Open your website test tool and scroll through the robots.txt code to access the highlighted syntax and logic warnings. The number of grammar and logic warnings are displayed directly below the editor.

Limitations of the robots_txt test tool
Changes you make in the tool editor are not automatically saved to the web server. You need to copy the content from the editor and paste it into the robots..txt file stored on the server.
The robottext test tool will not test any Robots-txt files except bots containing user agents or Google web searchers (such as Googlebot). We can't predict how other web crawlers will interpret it.
