Wild fans gave Ryan Suter a hostile welcome in Game 3

When Ryan Suter signed with the Minnesota Wild in July of 2012, fans had high hopes for the team and expected great things from their new star defenseman.

However, when Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs rolled around this year, Wild fans gave Suter a hostile welcome. This was due to his lackluster performance in Games 1 and 2 that resulted in losses for Minnesota

The jeers continued throughout most of his shifts during that game too - something rarely seen at an NHL playoff game but indicative of how frustrated Wild fans were with him after two consecutive defeats against Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford.

Despite all this adversity however, Ryan Suter managed to rise above it all by scoring a goal late into overtime which ultimately sealed victory for Minnesota and kept them alive in their series against Chicago – much to everyone’s delight! This heroic effort earned him some redemption among many disappointed Minneapolis hockey lovers who now recognize just what kind impact he can have on games when playing up-to-par or better than expectations set forth upon signing his lucrative contract back three years ago.
