OpenAI intends to release tools to further customize ChatGPT OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said Thursday that the company will release tools to give users more control over a generative AI system, while optimizing models for both general and specific use cases. Speaking to investors at the Morgan Stanley conference, Altman said the AI company will focus on building a platform that sells APIs to others and builds powerful applications, such as the ChatGPT intelligent chatbot.
